Each walk is around 5 miles in length, begins at 10.30, includes a stop for lunch, and ends by around 14.00. Enjoy photos of past walks and build up your stamina for the programme of walks in 2012. Walk with us!

The final Countryside Walk of 2011

Swift Valley and the Oxford Canal

The last RBC countryside walk in 2011 was around Swift Valley and the Oxford Canal on Saturday 1st October This is a walk which includes a country park, canal strolls and rural views.

We will leave the Swift Valley country park near Brownsover at 10.30. The walk is around 4 miles in length and, with a stop for lunch, will end by around 13.00. Please wear good walking shoes or boots, and make sure that you have a cagoule/waterproof jacket with you. Also please bring something to eat and drink for a picnic lunch together. For those who might require transport to or from the Swift Valley car park please see the list in the Church Entrance.
